I spent most of the morning preparing my place for the Russian's to stay. Cleaning, packing, and even had time to have some "turkish" delights.
My friend, we'll name him Nik, who seems to like me yet manages to break up with me every other day, gave me a ride to my mom's house. It was a quick ride and we managed to get there by 4:30....the ride was accompanied by talks of future travel but also honest conversations about what our ideal relationships are...I think deep inside...he knew we were not compatible..but one word of advice...patience
At about 6, My sister Victoria decided to drop by Mikko's one last time. We were invited for some Macaroni dinner...we gladly turned it down. I was teasing Mikko that we hate Finnish pasta...but really we didn't have any time. It was short but sweet. George (Mikko's host) cracked a few "clean" jokes (they are very religious) and then we gave hugs goodbye and went home. It was an awkward goodbye...but much better than of course yesterday's...(remember Elizabeth)
to be continued...
