I came home to my dad's house last night tired for over 300 miles of driving through the high desert. I was working with Catholic Charities all day and although I was amazed by their passion and hard work, I can't say that the drive and being exhausted all evening made it any worth the drive.
Last night, my mom did the usual trick. She said "someone wants to say hello to you"...a cute little chihuahua then emerges from our backyard. I can't help but smile and cry. We now have 3 dogs: Princess, Vice Ganda (named after a gay comedian), and Pulot (Silent T in french or "picked-up from the streets" in Filipino) lol...so cute!!!!
In the middle of the morning today, my dad asked me to open up the garage and feed the dogs. Instead of dog food, I found a brand new SUV. My parents are happy..I'm happy for them!
2011 has been year of blessing for my family. My dad's Pomona home has brought in so many happiness in the Salvador's life in the last couple of years. 2012 is proving to be even better :)
