Everyday, I run across a man in his electric wheelchair by the elevator. We always manage to give each other warm hellos.
Finally I decided to meet him for coffee to learn about this interesting man.
Here's the lowdown:
At his age, he divorced his wife last year so that she can go on living and not have to take care of him for being on a wheelchair..now that's romantic
He worked for the Reagan administration, an ex pro baseball player, and was a trump affiliate during his time..
I asked at the end of our coffee session if there's anything that he could offer me in terms of a professional wisdom and he says:
"Appoint Good People and Get Out of Their Way..."..he learned this from Mr. Ronald Reagan upon hiring him even without meeting him...
simply amazing
p.s. my dates with Roger will be a regular Thursday morning session..one could learn just about from anyone?
