This is collection of a few life lessons. I represent both someone who possess endless strengths and inconsolable sadness. You will see a woman who was made to feel shame for her desires and yet had the courage to pursue them anyway. At 23, I thought I found Elizabeth. Now at 35, I long to rediscover her again. Less is always more..
You and your partner came down from the stage. I usually don't care much for performances but you two got my attention. He was sporting a black tight bicycle shorts with a black open leather jacket and a spiked up hair. You were absolutely gorgeous. You had jet black hair, artificially straightened and professionally cut to highlight those beautiful bangs. Your dress was simple. It reminded me of a simple black prom dress made with chiffon studded with rhinestones to highlight your waist and your breast. It was cut like a doll dress and you were wearing a black swimsuit cut underwear. What's best is that you both dance with no shoes, You had a small studded bracelet around your feet; they were beautifully chosen. You didn't have the best body but your legs and your skin color was to die for. Of course, both of your smile were influential.
You both had unique chemistry. I find that particularly important when you dance. It was never about him but it became about him because of you. He praised you when you did your foot and arm work. She praised him by writing words of love with her hands. You used a non salsa tune that reminded me both of a tribal/baltic music from Serbia. Your three minutes in the center of the dance floor was my three hours of the night.
Again, I'm inspired. They say that the way you dance is a way to express one's freedom. I smile and I give you my love when I dance. I hope you always feel it. I teach and dance with a passion to express my love for love and for life.
I decided to walk home right down Dearborn and Ohio. I passed my favorites including Flemings, Room and Board, and some of my favorite Chicago restaurants. The wind was a bit chilly. Fall and Winter is on its way.
Tomorrow, I am back in LA..hopefully just temporary..we will see..I miss Rick the Brick...wish you were here. This Song is for you..
