Fall in New York was calling me :)
I decided to spontaneously meet up with some of my old friends for dinner last night. It's been a while. It's been 5 years since I last hung out with them. Excuses have been made anywhere from diverse interests, girly fights, and geographic limitations. Nevertheless, I admit that they are the only people that laughs with me genuinely. No filters, transparency at all times, and most of all, they all walk that same of life; a life that many would never truly embrace or understand.
The evening was simple. Dinner (for the first time, everyone seemed to at least have money), drinks, ice cream shared by 6 served in one bowl, youtube lip-sync performances, and story telling about our pasts. I didn't even realized that it was 3 am. I only had 3 hours of sleep left before I go to church.
They think I'm crazy. No matter what city I am in..ny, chicago, even warsaw..I make time to go to church. Before, they would argue with me that I don't make time. This time around, they just smiled and said ok.
We've grown. We're different. Now we can be better friends.
