The All New Mrs. Andromeda Tang..

The wedding is on a Sunday but we barely remember what happened on Saturday. I was in bed at the Fairmont by 9 pm but my sister, the bride, couldn't sleep so my other sister and another bridesmaid barely had enough sleep the night before the wedding.

On my left my was my phone making noise every 10 minutes because of a bad electrical connection and on the right is the noise of a keyboard pounding away in the other room. It seemed to be the longest night of my summer. Then at 6 am it all began..

My sister wore a beautiful red chinese gown for the morning tea ceremony. The frustration began when my parents decided to be 10 minutes late to the ceremony. The groom's family was warm but I felt like a typical caucasian party crasher at our our family events; we couldn't understand a thing.

We then began driving towards the hotel to get ready. Flowers in the room, bed ready for the bride, and the bridesmaids getting their hair and make up done. It was a beautiful day in Newport..the sun is shining and the photographers are ready to capture my sister's Special day..

The day can be highlighted by a typical wedding...photos, limo, flowers, ocean, boat, food, music, family and friends. What I remembered the most: my dad and sister's dance...I've never seen my Dad so happy dancing with his daughter. It made me cry so much....I hope my dad will just be as happy on my wedding day.

At the end the day...I realized what's truly important. Despite of the mishaps with the wedding music, video projections, and the boat managers, the wedding was beautiful and we ended the next day with a brunch with some of Andromeda's closest friends. I realized, for the first time, I really didn't care so much about how I looked or what people thought about me that day. Everyone else is so worried about their make up, their dress, their hair color, and even shampoo and soap. Meanwhile, I forgot to put deodorant, perfume, and although my hair was a mess, I marched on the aisle for my sister.

My sister looked stunning..she was scared, worried about her toe, and was so stressed..but she was a good sport...she looked so cute :)

My wedding...church, dad's backyard, filipino food, and a day with my closest family and friends...I cannot wait :)
