I told a friend I needed something a month ago and she decided that it may not be necessary for my sister's rehearsal dinner.
That's the last I am contacting her.
Friends are supposed to make you a better person.
She brought me down.
The next day, I thought my best friend was coming early to help me set-up. I counted on it. He never showed up.
I called..I didn't get an answer. Instead, I got a text if I wanted some egg-rolls since he was in the area.
I hung up and went about my day.
I wanted to pick up the cake so I called my best friend Laurita - she's undergoing divorce - so painful.
She heard my pain and stress...she asked me if I need help.
I picked her up - and definitely saved the day..
I felt bad but in the end, she said that I'm glad that finally there was something that she could do for me. She said that I never gave her a chance.
The best friend came and gave me a text that my waiters are cute. I got even more annoyed.
Above all...I am thankful
